Dear Interested Parties
On June 11, 1998, the Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment
(OEHHA) convened a public workshop on the Authoritative Bodies Mechanism
for Listing Under Proposition 65. Members from the regulated community,
the public and OEHHAs Science Advisory Board (Developmental
and Reproductive Toxicant (DART) Identification Committee and Carcinogen
Identification Committee) attended. At the workshop, members of
the DART Identification Committee requested additional informational
materials to help them in their consideration of the issues, at
their meeting on July 27, 1998, where
they will discuss the issue of existing and potential authoritative
bodies. The following materials were provided to the DART Identification
Committee members and are also available to the public:

1989 and 1990) Scientific Advisory Panel (SAP) meetings concerning
the designations of the existing authoritative bodies.
