On June 6, 2003,
the Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) published
a notice in the California Regulatory Notice Register (Register
2003, No. 23-Z) requesting information which may be relevant to
the evaluation of nickel compounds proposed for listing by operation
of law based on the Labor Code Section 6382(b)(1) and (d). The comment
period was scheduled to close on Monday, July 7, 2003. OEHHA has
received a request to extend the comment period for the proposed
listing of nickel compounds to allow for the submittal of complete
and relevant information. OEHHA hereby extends the public comment
period to 5 p.m., Monday, July 28, 2003.
Comments should be sent in triplicate, along with any supporting
documentation, by mail or by fax to:

5:00 p.m. on Monday, July 28, 2003.
