In a public notice published in the November 19, 1999 (Register 99, No. 47-Z) issue of the California Regulatory Notice Register, the Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) made a request for relevant information on chemicals to be considered by the OEHHA Science Advisory Board's Carcinogen Identification Committee (CIC). Within this notice, OEHHA announced that a public workshop had been requested and would be held on styrene, one of the chemicals to be considered by the CIC. The date, location and agenda of the workshop were yet to be determined. Since the publication of the November 19 notice, the request for the workshop has been rescinded. Accordingly, OEHHA hereby withdraws the announcement of a public workshop on styrene. Any questions concerning this notice may be directed to:
