The
Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) will be
convening two one-day public workshops as part of its ongoing efforts
to elicit and collect ideas about
future
environmental challenges which may confront programs in the California
Environmental Protection Agency in the next five to ten years.
Workshop
participants will identify possible emerging environmental issues,
explore trends relevant to environmental quality, and examine the
potential implications of these trends for environmental protection
in California.
Ideas
from the workshops will be added to those already collected to date
under the Emerging Environmental Challenges Program, and presented
to Cal/EPA policy-makers for their consideration in developing future
plans for their programs.
All
interested parties are invited to attend.
