Notice of Public Comment Period and Notice of Public Workshops on Air Toxics "Hot Spots" Program Risk Assessment Guidelines - comment period closed

The Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) will conduct two public workshops to solicit public comment and respond to questions on the draft document, Technical Support Document for Exposure Assessment and Stochastic Analysis.

This draft technical support document is part of the Risk Assessment Guidelines that are being developed by OEHHA in response to Senate Bill 1731 and are intended for use in implementing the Air Toxics "Hot Spots" Program mandated by the Air Toxics Hot Spots Information and Assessment Act of 1987, as amended. The draft document will be distributed for public review on December 31, 1996 (available on the OEHHA Home Page at www.oehha.ca.gov). The distribution of the document will commence a 60-day public review period that will end on March 10, 1997. Two regional public workshops will be held on the following dates, times, and locations:

Northern California
February 4, 1997 (Tuesday)
