Allan Hirsch
Allan Hirsch was appointed as the office’s Chief Deputy Director, on January 22, 2007.
Hirsch served as OEHHA’s Deputy Director, External and Legislative Affairs from 1999 - 2007. In that position, Hirsch was the office’s liaison with the Legislature and the news media, and oversaw the tracking and analysis of legislative bills and the issuance of news releases and informational materials. Hirsch also directed the Proposition 65 Implementation Program.
Prior to joining OEHHA, Hirsch worked at the Air Resources Board and the Department of Toxic Substances Control. He is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley.
