Chemicals Under Consideration For Possible Listing Via The Authoritative Bodies Mechanism:  Request For Relevant Information - EXTENSION OF PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD, 4-methylimidazole

On January 25, 2008, the Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) published a notice in the California Regulatory Notice Register (Register 2008, No. 4-Z) soliciting information which may be relevant to the evaluation of certain chemicals under consideration for possible administrative listing within the context of the Proposition 65 administrative listing regulatory criteria in Title 22 of the California Code of Regulations Section 12306.

OEHHA has received a request to extend the comment period for 4-methylimidazole to allow for the submittal of complete and relevant scientific information.  OEHHA hereby extends the public comment period for 4-methylimidazole to 5 p.m., Thursday, April 24, 2008.  Please note that the 60‑day public comment period initiated on January 25, 2008 for dibromoacetic acid will close as announced on March 25, 2008.
